Why a media studio built only for law firms

General marketing agencies treat every client the same: the same templates, the same stock photography, the same generic advice. Law firms operate under real constraints: bar advertising rules, client confidentiality, and a reputation that took years to build.

Firmline exists to work inside those constraints instead of around them, so nothing we produce puts your license or your reputation at risk.

We're also local: based in Los Angeles County and working with firms across LA and Orange County, which means in-person shoots and meetings without travel fees or cross-country scheduling.

What we hold ourselves to

  • Compliance first

Every piece of content is checked against your bar's advertising rules before it ships, no exceptions.

  • One point of contact

You work with people who know your firm, not a rotating account team.

  • Plain-language reporting

You'll always know what we did and why, without needing a marketing background to read the report.

  • Built to last

Brand systems and content libraries that hold up as your firm grows, not just for one campaign.

Built by three people

Firmline is run by a small team: one person focused on the business and the brand, and two law students, at NYU and UCLA, who care about branding as much as they care about the law they're studying. That combination is why bar compliance isn't bolted onto the end of a project. It's part of how the team is built.

Sean also contributes to business development, researching prospective clients and partners to help Firmline build meaningful relationships within the legal industry.

AH

Arian Hirai

Compliance & Copy

Arian is pre-law at NYU and brings a rare pairing of sharp legal thinking and natural storytelling to everything Firmline writes. Genuinely passionate about both media and the law, he crafts scripts and copy that hold a reader's attention without ever drifting from what the bar allows, turning dense legal concepts into content people actually want to read. He also oversees bar compliance across every piece Firmline publishes and handles licensing for the assets the team uses.
